The first day of the fast I juiced and was not able to drink the juice and knew I was to do just water which is the context of The Jesus Fast. This book as well as the devotional Lou recommends "Consumed" were instrumental in helping me stay focused on the prayer goals of the fast. I appreciated Lou's transparency regarding his own journey in various fastings; it helps to know that someone as seasoned as Lou still has struggles as well. I was inspired by Lou's testimonies of prayer assignments and breakthroughs that came during and after his own fast(s). Existing on water and prayer for 40 days was difficult enough in 2016 with air conditioning and a comfortable bed to rest in when I grew weak and tired. I can't even begin to imagine what Jesus endured in the desert with no air conditioning and no comfortable amenities. All of the discomfort and sacrifice was worth it because during the last week of the fast tremendous breakthrough came regarding a family issue that had been at a stalemate for a long time. it was one of the prayer goals of the fast and the breakthrough was sudden and concise and has continued to bear the fruit of reconciliation.

Lou's tenacity for revival and the presence of God is infectious. The Jesus Fast not only inspires you, the revelation of scripture is powerful. Get it! Prayer and fasting has always been the missing jewel in the church. If you're praying for revival, GET IT. If not, GET IT--and you will be.

Life changing! I ready this while doing a 40 day fast and all I can say is it spoke to me on every page, every level. They break through religion and tap straight into the spirit realm of your very being. Not many books that I really read twice. The first time I read it, the second time I and studying it. Thank you from hearing from God.

Had to get it or clause, would read it for funif you work in the healthcare industry, this book is a great way to learn about the healthcare system and understand how it works. I would highly recommend it to anybody who works in healthcare.

This is a very interesting book. I had to read the whole thing for a graduate school course (nursing). It is written in a very straight forward, readable style and explains things very well. It addresses many aspects of health care issues in the U.S. and also has a chapter comparing our system with those of a few other countries with similar issue and economies. Price was reasonable for a textbook. You will come away from reading this book supporting universal health care!

Doch nicht für lange! Denn der überraschende Zusammenstoß im Nichts führte dazu, dass der "Dimensionsfahrstuhl" Pthor sich nicht länger im Hyperraum halten konnte, sondern zur Rückkehr in das normale Raum-Zeit-Kontinuum gezwungen wurde.
Und so geschieht es, dass Pthor auf dem Planeten der Brangeln niedergeht, nachdem der Kontinent eine Bahn der Vernichtung über die "Ebene der Krieger" gezogen hat.
Natürlich ist dieses Ereignis nicht unbemerkt geblieben. Sperco, der Tyrann der Galaxis Wolcion, schickt seine Diener aus, die die Fremden ausschalten sollen. Darauf widmet sich Atlan sofort dem Gegner. Um ihn näher kennen zu lernen und seine Möglichkeiten auszuloten, begibt sich der Arkonide zu den Spercoiden.
